Blog Post: a giveaway to celebrate 2,000 LIKES on my author Facebook page

I promised Facebook fans when I hit 2,000 LIKES on my author page that I would hold a giveaway.  Thanks to their enthusiasm, we shot past this mark overnight!

Here are the details of the giveaway, as promised.

Question:  which new 2012 book release are you looking forward to the most in the upcoming months?  Is it in romance, or some other genre?

Comment here for a chance to win one of two sets of the UK editions of:  DRAGON BOUND, STORM’S HEART and SERPENT’S KISS.

  1. This contest is to fulfillment my promise to Facebook fans, so you must include your Facebook identification in order to qualify.
  2. Please feel free to comment as much as you like, and enjoy the discussion, but only one comment will count as an entry in the contest.
  3. Comments made on Facebook, Twitter, or Goodreads do not count.  I’ll pick the winners from my blog.
  4. This contest is international.
  5. Giveaway ends Wednesday August 1st, at 12 noon Mountain Daylight Time (this is 2 pm EST).

I am traveling to the Romance Writers of America annual conference in Anaheim, California, so I will not be able to participate in the discussion, but I will keep an eye on it.

    Such a hard decision… Some of the books I’m looking forward to are Iced by Karen Marie Moning (Must have more of the Fever world!) Shadows Claim by Kresley Cole which is more YA Paranormal but has to do with kids being “tarot” cards from my understanding… really fascinating stuff there. Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews… really love all her books, more of an urban fantasy paranormal :) And of course I “was” looking forward to How to Drive a Dragon Crazy by G.A. Aiken but they are with the publisher I do reviews for so I actually got to read that one already and it was well worth the read! ;)

    Another on is How to Lose a Demon in 10 days by Saranna DeWylde who’s awesome and Paranormal Romance. I have an ARC of it (Sept.) and I’m really looking forward to diving into it :) <3

    I will say that I’m really eagerly waiting for Lord’s Fall. I have to say, however, that I would have said Lois McMaster Bujold’s Captain Vorpatril’s Alliance if I hadn’t already read the EArc of the book that’s been issued by Baen. The Ebook and Hardcover are due this Fall.

    LORD’S FALL is a given, right? I imagine I have a few more series re-read in me to tide me over until November, shiney paper copies of your lovely series would be a welcome bonus.

    Jennifer Ashley has a new historical coming out in December, THE SEDUCTION OF ELLIOT MCBRIDE. Her first Highland Pleasures book, THE MADNESS OF LORD IAN MACKENZIE, is a favorite that I often re-visit, and the series as a whole offers interesting character development and excellent sexual chemistry.

    Ilona Andrew’s STEEL’S EDGE is coming out a few weeks after LORD’S FALL, and I love the balance of romance and fantasy in The Edge series.

    From a pure urban fantasy perspective, I can’t wait for THE SHATTERED DARK (#2 in Sandy Williams’s McKenzie Lewis series), ICED (Karen Marie Moning’s Dani spin off), DEATH’S RIVAL (the latest Jane Yellowrock book), and THE RAVEN BOYS (Maggie Stiefvater’s new series, *squee*).

    It’s the final book in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. A Memory of Light. Been collecting and reading these epic fantasy books since 1996 (I was 10). So it will truly be closure to finally know how it ends!!! My fb: Jenny van der Kroft.

    There are several books..Biting Cold by Chloe Neill, Vampire Empire The Kingmakers (it’s the final book of the trilogy), Karen Chance’s Fury’s Kiss and Karen Moning’s Iced. I just started reading your series and I love it. I’m currently on book 2 – Storm’s Heart. Looking firward to the rest of the books.     I just started reading the Elder Races series last week and fell in love with it. I especially love Dragos and Pia from Dragon Bound and cannot wait for Lord’s Fall. I love fantasy/paranormal romance, especially ones with dragons, fairies/fey, elves, shifters, and mythological creatures. The genre is so creative and inspiring. I can’t wait for the rest of the Elder Races series!
