Blog Post: three kinds of swag for readers, reading groups, bloggers, booksellers and libraries

I have finally gotten a post office box in Colorado!

My PO box address is:

Thea Harrison

PO Box 1251

Arvada, CO 80001-1251

I have swag from RWA that I would be delighted to share with readers.  There are three kinds:

~~~ONE~~~
I have six beautiful download cards for TRUE COLORS left over from my Samhain Publishing signing.  If you would like one of these cards, please leave a comment here on my blog and I will pick six of you next Friday August 10th at 12 noon MDT/2 pm EST.
~~~TWO~~~

As promised, I have bookmarks!!  You can see in the photo that the bookmarks are dated, and so these are the only ones I will get printed.  While supplies last, these are available to anyone who wants them– booksellers for promo, individual readers, reading groups and libraries.

If you want bookmarks, first email me at thea@theaharrison.com to let me know how many you want to make sure I haven’t run out of them.  Then you must send a self addressed stamped envelope to my post office box, listed above.

**Important:  You must be sure you have enough postage on your return envelope, or I will not be able to mail these to you.**

~~~THREE~~~
Cards that are NOT romance trading cards.
We had a printing snafu, and now I have 500 each of all of my book / novella covers.  I can’t quite bring myself to throw them away because they are so cute.  These are NOT romance trading cards–I have one turned over in the photo so you can see that the back is blank.  If anyone would like a full set of all nine cards you are welcome to them.
If you want a set of these cards, first email me at thea@theaharrison.com to let me know how many sets you want to make sure I haven’t run out of them.  Then you must send a self addressed stamped envelope to my post office box, listed above.
**Important:  You must be sure you have enough postage on your return envelope–enough for nine business sized cards–or I will not be able to mail these to you.  Also, I will not be able to sign all nine cards.**
Hope you enjoy!
Best,
Thea
    ooo i would love one of the download cards!!
    just wondering.. how would i go about getting a bookmark and /or card set in canada? we dont have the same postage as you..
    Hi Alaina,
    International folks will have to send me a return envelope along with an international postage coupon. You will need to check with your local post office.
    I went through this process with an international reader when I lived in the Bay Area, in CA, and it works!
    Best,
    Thea
        Hi Alaina, you need to talk to your local post office to get an idea of the correct amount. You can buy as many/much coupons as you need.
        • Alaina says:
          from what ive been told, you exchange the coupon for required postage.. the coupon is 5 bux by itself.. it doesnt tell you on there how much you can exchange it for… (i work at my local post office.. theyve only seen them once)
    Ooooh, they are all so pretty!! Look for my e-mail for the bookmarks. How large are the cards? 2″ x 3″? Just wondering what size envelope would be needed for those and the bookmarks.
    And congrats again on your RITA!
  4. thea says:
    Thank you, Elizabeth!
    The cards are a standard business card size, I think 2 x 3.5 inches.
    Plan on 2 x 8 inches for the bookmarks.
    I hope this helps!
    I would love a set! And I plan on emailing you for the others! Can’t wait for your books and i now have my friends hooked as well :-)
  6. Gabbie says:
    I’ll have to speak with the post office when I get down there for some international coupons + extras for when an instance such as this occurs :) The swag is beautiful Thea, thank you for sharing!
    Ooh, I want a set of all of them! How much postage (or at least weight and I can calculate it) would that be?
    • thea says:
      You need to talk to your local post office. You can take in nine business cards (and a bookmark, if you want one) and have them calculate the weight and postage.
  8. Karin Anderson says:
    I would love the True Colors card. If you have 3 sets of cover cards and bookmarks, I’d like those as well.
    I found you on the hero blog hop, I just finished Dragos book. I gotta tell you I laughed so hard when Tricks and Pia were at Manhatten Cat. Great books, I just started Storm’s Heart. So glad I found this series. I would also love to be added to the giveaway for the True Color Cards Thx.
    Please enter me in True Colors giveaway. BIG fan of all your books & love the novellas giving us even more stories!
  11. Kim says:
    Hello I’m from Germany and would like to get autograph cards. can you help me get to this? I am a big fan of you
    • thea says:
      Hi Kim, How nice to hear from you. Please check with your local post office and ask them about international mailing coupons. They’re not widely used, but they do work just fine. Tell them you want enough postage to cover the nine cards and a bookmark, and I’m sure they can help you out. Then send me the coupons, along with an envelope to mail everything to you. :)
  12. Peggy says:
    Oh man I would love to have them all as I collect them .. sending out envelope tomorrow as I know my daughter will take some from me also she loves your books too :)
  13. Sumiyati E Monoarfa says:
